The Renaissance Artist in the 16th century, found the grid of the ancient Greeks and Egyptians to be the perfect tool to draw more realistically.  Chuck Close and the Photo-realist in the 20th century (1980’s), found it a great way to describe the Super Size attitude of our modern society.
